Hello, I'm Ana!

While you won't find me daily as pictured above, chances are I'll be wearing red lipstick when we meet.

I started my career as a portrait photographer in 2010 when my husband gifted me a camera and the photography course I'd been dreaming of.

At the time, my kids were tiny - 1 and 5 years old. I began a weekly course near my home in the evenings. Initially, my goal was to capture better photos of my kids and for a blog I had at the time.

Three months later, at the end of my first course, I was even more in love with photography and started shooting weddings. Portraits quickly became my favorite, specifically Fine Art portraits. The images below are from my first portrait series.

My career hasn't been linear or easy. Moving states, the pandemic, and prioritizing my family have slowed down my photography journey compared to most, but this slowdown, even though it wasn't what I wanted, had its benefits.

Currently, I photograph on location and at my home studio, a small but magical place that feels like Mary Poppins' bag with everything I need to create magical photos.

My photoshoots are lengthy, and people often find themselves on my couch with a cup of excellent coffee or a warm food bowl I prepare for them at the end.

When you schedule a photoshoot with me, there's a consultation and planning call to organize the big day. The day of your photoshoot is exclusively yours.

First-timers might arrive nervous, but that feeling fades fast. I handle your posing and everything else to ensure you look and feel your best. In the end, you may be tired, but you'll feel confident and relaxed.

Most clients return for another photoshoot, and from the second one onward, it's fun from beginning to end. I mean, no nervousness at the beginning!

We'll discuss product details, pricing, and photos during our first conversation. One thing I want you to know is that I don't want my clients to be surprised by the price at the end with all the products and extras some other photographers offer. When you buy a photo from me, you have all the rights to print it as large as possible with the high-resolution file you'll receive.

I believe in printed images, as the photos I create are meant to be displayed. That's why all my packages include prints and a gorgeous display or canvas box.

I offer larger prints and other products but will only provide them if you ask.

"But there are so few images in your packages, Ana!" - I hear it every time.

My photos are crafted to be Fine Art images, something you want to display on your walls, profile pictures, print as holiday cards, etc.

I spend my time creating unique, one-of-a-kind images instead of shooting hundreds of the same image. But don't get me wrong, I'll take lots of images to get to The One!

By now, you can tell I love to talk, and I can't wait to talk to you soon!
